Brice Marden's paintings and drawings have long been at the forefront
of contemporary abstract art. The much acclaimed retrospective at MOMA
in November 2006 provided an opportunity to accompany the artist and
the curator Gary Garrels on a tour of the exhibition to discuss the key
works of the last forty years. Marden speaks frankly about his
approach, his beginnings and influences. We were able to realize a
significant documentation which is valid for the present and the future. |
